FTS' Noble Named as Finalist Young Professional of the Year
Tampa, FL--January, 2011 Jocelyn Noble, Owner and President of FedTechServices, Inc. (FTS), recently was nominated as a Young Professional of the Year by Business Buddies Tampa. FTS, a network management solutions provider founded in 2008, also was awarded Business Buddies' Small Business of the Year for 2010 at the Holiday Ball held at the Mainsail Conference Center before more than 150 small business professionals.
Since its founding, FTS has provided unique, state-of-the-art network management solutions to such customers as U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) and U.S. Forces--Afghanistan (USFOR-A). These solutions provide military operators located throughout the Middle East and the U.S. with the capability to monitor the performance and security of communication networks in near real-time and from any location.
As a nominee for the Young Professional of the Year, Business Buddies recognized Noble for her and FTS's efforts, accomplishments, and contributions in support of the warfighter and as a small business operating in the Tampa Bay Area. Noble was also recognized for her various charitable endeavors, including the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Habitat for Humanity.
"Being nominated for this award is special in that the hard work, dedication and charitable interests of the entire FTS staff are being recognized by the business community of Tampa Bay," said Noble. "We are extremely proud of the work we have done over the last year, and we look forward to building an even stronger relationship with Best Buddies."
Over the last two years, FTS' revenues have grown exponentially, and the staff has multiplied from the original five which worked out of a single office to more than thirty employees occupying several offices and a warehouse space in the Westshore business district.
In addition to such astounding professional growth in a poor economy, FTS and its employees are involved in several charitable organizations, including both local charities as well as national charities that support the military overseas.
"We feel very fortunate to have realized the success that we have over the last couple of years, so sharing our time and resources with worthy charities, especially military charities, is the least we can do. Many of our employees have served in the military and have served during war-time, so these charities are especially meaningful to us," said Noble.
